MAPAQ Issues Warning not to eat prepared foods packaged in glass jars

Quebec, August 26, 2013 – MAPAQ, in collaboration with the company operating under the name L’Atelier des Délices, located at 278 Highway 138, in Neuville, is warning the public not to consume the products of this business listed below, as these foods have not been prepared in a way to ensure safety.

Cabbage Soup Beef with vegetables
Onion Soup Stew chicken and vegetables
Barley Soup Cassoulet of pork and Italian sausage
Leek soup Pork stew
Potage Crecy Baked beans with tomato sauce
Cream of Tomato and Pesto Chicken Neapolitan
Cream of green vegetables Sausage Creole
Sicilian Sauce Chicken and Sausage Cassoulet
Hungarian Beef Dumpling Bacon caned

The products that are the subject of this warning were packaged in glass jars and sold non-refrigerated until 21 August 2013 inclusive at the institution indicated above.

The company is voluntarily recalling the products and has agreed with MAPAQ to disseminate this warning as a precaution. It should be noted that no cases of illness associated with the consumption of these foods have been reported so far. People who have any of these products in their possession are advised not to eat it and return it to the institution where they bought it. Although the products listed do not show signs of tampering or suspicious smell, consuming them can be a health risk.
