Baymag Inc. is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of high grade magnesium oxide based on one of the purest crystalline magnesite deposits ever discovered.  Canadian crystalline magnesite ore is mined and transported to Baymag’s state of the art production facilities in Exshaw, Alberta where it is calcined into various grades of magnesium oxide (MgO).  Calcined magnesium oxide is used in a wide variety of industrial applications, is gaining popularity in environmental protection and has long been an essential ingredient in ruminant nutrition.  The process meets all of the necessary requirements and verifications to meet industry standards as a safe mineral supplement in animal feeds.
