Notice not to consume cooked foods sold in glass jars
Quebec, March 1, 2013 – MAPAQ, in collaboration with the Division of Food Inspection Agency of the City of Montreal, Charcuterie Noël Inc., located at 5733 Leger Boulevard in Montreal, is warning the public not not consume the products described below because their storage at a temperature above 4 degrees Celsius does not ensure safety.

Products which are the subject of this warning were sold non-refrigerated in glass jars at the institution designated above. Product labels contain all the specified words “CHARCUTERIE NOËL.” It should be noted that no cases of illness associated with the consumption of these foods have been reported to date MAPAQ.
The company is voluntarily recalling the products and has agreed with MAPAQ and the Division of Food Inspection Agency of the City of Montreal to broadcast this warning as a preventive measure. People who have one of these products in their possession are advised not to eat it and return to the institution where they bought it. Even if the products do not show signs of tampering or smell spoiled, consumption may pose a risk to health.
