MAPAQ Warns Not to Consume L’Olivier Del Mondo Olives

Warning not eat olives with garlic in oil

Quebec, September 5, 2012 – The MAPAQ, in collaboration with the company operating under the name L’Olivier Del Mondo, located at 1092A, rue du Couvent,  St. Albert, warning the public not to consume olives and garlic in oil sold in the businesses that are described below because their safety is not guaranteed.

Products packaged in containers of 200 g which are the subject of this warning are labeled “www.olivierdelmondo.ca.”

It should be noted that no cases of illness associated with the consumption of these foods have been reported to date to MAPAQ.

The company is voluntarily recalling these products. They have agreed with MAPAQ disseminate this warning as a precaution. Also, people who have one of these products in their possession are advised not to eat it and return to the institution where they bought it.
